Slowly but surely...

This was a fun year to do taxes. In fact I think it is the sole reason I am not already in Costa Rica. Now that the mess is behind us and we have deducted every possible thing in our lives, we are off to San Jose on Tuesday February 20th. For those of you who dont know that is Jamey's Birthday and he is going to be 29. Send him a shout out or mentally give him five. We are flying into San Jose via Miami on Tuesday and will be arriving at night around 10:30. We are staying at a pretty cool looking hostel in San Jose for a night and then we are off to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary on the carribbean coast near Puerto Viejo. We found some cool digs for a good price. We're hoping to find a place we love and call it home for a while. I let you know what I think of Puerto Viejo. After the celebrations we are planning on getting down to business. First and foremost, where are the best waves? Second, where can we get a board? Third, conservation. Fourth, money. I want to sell churrros and Jamey wants to teach. We'll see who wins that one.

I will posting some pictures here but mostly on my yahoo account. I will leave the link when I start uploading.

Love and kisses all around

This is all very new to me

Jamey and I are about to leave the country. We know we are leaving by plane. We also know that we will be taking a tent with us and hiking boots. We do not know where we are going. A year ago I might have said, yes, I am packing for the High Atlas Mountains to learn Berber and buy really good textiles but alas that is not going to happen. We might be going south, deep south, to surf some steady waves, eat some churros on the beach and spread the colonial language. No matter where we end up we thought this form of communication was the best way to take family and loved ones with us. We'll post pictures and stories and convince everyone we know to join us in our foreign land. Seeing as we have a lot of wandering friends, that may not be as hard as you think. Okay, here we go.....
